Project Description

The former kitchen had 3 ways to enter from all parts of the home. That meant that counter space was chopped up and the flow was interrupted. Closing off one of the doorways allowed for a long work counter for the owner to spread out cooking projects, and then incorporate a storage wall elsewhere in the kitchen to display her pottery collection. The cooking and sink remained in their original location and now it’s a space where the whole family has a spot to help prepare meals.
